Executive Summary
A nontechnical summary statement at the beginning of a business plan that’s designed to encapsulate your reason for writing the plan.
Investor Deck
The pitch deck is the first thing you will use when interacting with a potential investor. In many ways, it is one of your most important tools. The content of the pitch deck, along with your presentation, can help the investor to determine whether or not to continue evaluating your business opportunity.
Term Sheet
A non-binding agreement setting forth the basic terms and conditions under which an investment will be made. A term sheet serves as a template to develop more detailed legal documents.
What images should I include in my pitch?
Potential investors may not get the chance meet you or experience your product or service, so images are a great opportunity for them to get a better feel for your business.
Images should be high-quality and should be a good representation of your business, brand and offering. You, therefore, might choose to include images of your product, quotes from press articles or testimonials from customers.
You can also add captions to each image, which provides valuable context for investors.
Avoid having too much in one image, for example, don’t use the images to show text-heavy slides from your pitch deck.
Lastly, please bear in mind that images will also be reviewed as part of our verification process, so any new claims will require evidence.
